How to do remove an entire forum from a wiki? I have read all the warnings about deleting pages on a forum and so I have currently only hidden the forum. However, Google & other search engines can still find these pages and I would like to get rid of these pages.
Is there a way to completely shut off the forum or can I delete the main categories (and start new ones if we decide to use wikidot forums again in the future)? Or should I just delete all of the threads (postings)?
Why? Because, unfortunately, these forums appear to be screwing up our SEO as you get a penalty for pages with very little content (which is almost every forum page).
